This project is inspired by the different shapes of windows and arches in Chinese gardens. I used colored pencils to draw 60 different “moon scenes outside the window” to record the fragile beauty of the moment, and to describe the first and last lunar nights in my mind. The moon phase has gone through a whole cycle and returned to its initial state, everything seems to be unchanged, all the emotions and memories seem to have dissipated into nothing, leaving no traces behind. However, in this seemingly silent darkness, we find the treasure hidden in the dark side of the moon that never sees the light. They are the energies that have been deposited by time, which rise and fall like the tides, silently visualizing our emotions.
